Fårö

Here we are in the north Gotland in Fårö island.

There is a lot of lambs in Gotland, you can see them everywere.

It is also nature reserve in Fårö and stately rauk fields.

Vacation in Gotland!

Here we are on vacation in Visby , Gotland, an island which belongs to Sweden.

This is a part of the stone wall around the old town in Visby. There is a lot of cute houses and a great old church without a roof in the center of the town.

New England Guesthouse

I have dusted of my New England Guesthouse and put some news in there. There is some new pictures on the wall, new pillows in the bed (from Lissu) and Then I made more pillows and cushions to the garden chairs.
I bought those tiny shells in a flowershop, I did not pick them by myself...

You can also see my new dogs on the grass!

Swedish Summer!

I just want to show you some pics from the fishing village next to my town, where I live in sweden.

My parents spend the summer here in a small red house with white corner of the house.

Thats typical look for a swedish house, and it looks very nice to the green vegetations. This houses are very old , but very well renovated.

The very tiny house are an old laundryhouse, where they boild the laundry for almost a hundred years ago.

Then you can see the food cellar where they kept the food. I think its still can be used, becouse its very chilly inside.

The big boat house in the picture at the bottom is where the fishermen keep the boat. They still do fishing everyday and we can buy smoked salomon and kippers. (smoked baltic herring)
I took theese pics yesterday and it was a blowing a lot , a bit cloudy, but still a tropical heat.

Shopping!

I could not go to the SIMP miniature fair in Paris , but I did some shopping in internet instead!

This is made of Evelyn Fontaine from Belgium, one of the exhibitors on the fair.

I bought just a few pieces from her new online shop Blondie Creations, and they are so lovely!

I also get this cute biscuite tin in gift as her first on line customer. Thanks Evelien!

Miniatures

I´ve got som plastic shells and starfish as a gift from Birgitta ,that I think look like soaps. I also made some sponges. This is for a new project that I am working on right now.There is going to be a interier shop in a new roombox...

If you need more than one of a piece, use some mold and make lots of them... I used a scrapbook decoration angel, and put in the mold. ( You can buy it where you buy clays and that is easy to mix ) Then I used white coloured DAS , an air-drying clay.

New furniture

Ive got a nice earring in some kind of carved wood from Birgitta, that she bought in Marocko. I made a small table and for the base I used a chess piece. I painted it in white and polished it for a bit shabby style.

I also made a divan , just used styrofoam for the base. Then I put some felt fabric for the softness and then the check fabric on the top. I also tried to make a pillow like Lissu´s , a tiny one with a letter motives. The plaid is a piece of fabric that Eva gave me, I think it lookes like expensive kashmir...

Boxes and Bags!

I made some boxes and bags!

I used handpressed paper and printed labels to the boxes.As you can see it contains some black pots...

The bags are made from printed paper and leather decoration. I found real bags in pictures on internet and tried to make similar in scale 1:12.

My french sofa

I have made a french sofa from this tutorial! Mine has a bit different shape, but this is my first try. It made from carton, glue, decorative strip and linen fabric. The pillows are made by Lissu.

In the background you can see a piece of my Lieutenant heart.
