New fabric for the armchair!

 I have printed some fabric for my armchair. This pattern is a Swedish design by Josef Frank. 

I had this in my mind when I created it.

Another footstool...

I have made a footstool or an ottoman -I dont really know what to call it...

Here you can see what I used for making it -

I always use balsa wood , becouse its easy to cut with a knife or use a pair of scissors. I cant deal with a saw, the results are never good.

Then I used wood glue, printed fabric and foam that i cut the edges for a better shape. I just glued the fabric on the balsa and the foam.I used wooden beads as feet.

The fabric is originally a swedish design of Josef Frank that I printed out on freezepaper in a  miniature size on the pattern.

Inspired from the ´70s!

We have as a project in the Swedish miniature club to make furnitures and this is what I made so far.

I found the fabric on the matress at my parents home, it used to be a doll clothes from the 1970´s that a cut apart. Then I bought some new fabrics too and saw some cusions. The bed is made of balsa, just as the small table.I tried to make a copy of the IKEA table "Lack"...

To The Sewing Room...

I have a few days off work so I got some time for miniatures. This is what I aranged in my new cabinet that I bought to the sewing room. I got the idea from somebody I dont remember in internet, to use a cabinet like this to the fabrics. I also made a billboard from a golden frame that I painted white.

Redone Furnitures

I have make some redone of furnitures that was brown from the beginning. Them frame was gold and looked very plastic from start and I just paited it in white and printed a new picture.

The pillows with the crowns are also printed fabric.

More blue painting!

I have painted this furniture with the same blue as the frames that i show in the last post.

You have probebly already figured it out that this is my favorite colour...

Shopping!

I could not go to the SIMP miniature fair in Paris , but I did some shopping in internet instead!

This is made of Evelyn Fontaine from Belgium, one of the exhibitors on the fair.

I bought just a few pieces from her new online shop Blondie Creations, and they are so lovely!

I also get this cute biscuite tin in gift as her first on line customer. Thanks Evelien!

New furniture

Ive got a nice earring in some kind of carved wood from Birgitta, that she bought in Marocko. I made a small table and for the base I used a chess piece. I painted it in white and polished it for a bit shabby style.

I also made a divan , just used styrofoam for the base. Then I put some felt fabric for the softness and then the check fabric on the top. I also tried to make a pillow like Lissu´s , a tiny one with a letter motives. The plaid is a piece of fabric that Eva gave me, I think it lookes like expensive kashmir...

My french sofa

I have made a french sofa from this tutorial! Mine has a bit different shape, but this is my first try. It made from carton, glue, decorative strip and linen fabric. The pillows are made by Lissu.

In the background you can see a piece of my Lieutenant heart.

More gifts!

Detta Kit med en Kotte Toy´s stol fick jag av gulliga Eva häromdagen. Den målades i min favoritfärg blå!

Den gick snabbt och enkel att sätta ihop!

Stolar!

Jag är med i ett projekt ett miniatyrforum där vi har stolar som tema.

Så här har jag gjort mina av från början obehandlade trästolar. Jag har en tanke om att skapa ett rum med pastellfärgade möbler. Här kommer iallafall en början.

Samma sorts stol har jag även i sommarhuset, men den har jag målat vit med rosa dynor.

Sommardukningar!

Jag har klippt till lite nya dukar av tygerna jag köpte häromdagen.

Somriga i olika nyanser! Hortensian i krukan på bordet är den av de första blomkiten jag gjorde, så träning ger färdighet...

Brickan,korgarna ,bullarna och kakorna har jag gjort men pionera i den vita krukan har jag fått av Eva.

Den är fantastiskt fin och är en av mina absoluta favoriter bland mina miniatyrer!

Nymålat!

Jag har äntligen målat detta skåp som jag köpt för länge sedan, som jag egentligen inte har någon plats för ännu. Jag har tänkt mej inredning i olika pastellfärger, men har ännu inget hus där det får plats..här har jag lånat sommarhuset för fotografering bara.

Skåp av ett fönster

Jag har gjort ett skåp med hjälp av ett gammalt fönster och balsaträ.Det är ganska litet så man kan ha det antingen stående på golvet eller uppsatt på väggen.
Det fattas bara knoppar till handtag och glaset.

Nya trädgårdsmöbler!

Så här blev trädgårdsmöblerna jag köpte som möbelkit från Kotte Toy´s, på mässan förra året. De var ett har legat ouppackat sedan dess, men nyligen satte jag iallafall ihop dem och det gick hur lätt och fort som helst!Det tog lite längre tid att slipa och måla dem.

Kanske att de kommer att passa bra på verandan till mitt senaste dockhus som ska bli ett sommarhus.

Det är en rolig idé med "stolklubben" på Kottes att man kan prenumerera på stolar som man får hemskickade som kit, fem gånger per år.Något att önska sej när man fyller år kanske, eller ge bort i present till någon?

Så tycker jag att Konsumhuset är fantastiskt fint som de har, riktigt nostalgist!
